Ok...

Here are some tunes for you to listen to and critique.

The first page is a collection of 3 songs recorded in March 2008. The songs are "I'm your Man" "Don't You Say" and "Drinking Song". They were recorded as a school project, a live to two track session.

The second page is our old myspace page with 3 songs recorded in January 2007. These songs are some of our older material. They are "Cross-eyed Situation", "Halfway There" and "Free",

Enjoy

Also in case you are wondering I am the Drummer in the band. I also act as our manager, book our gigs, take care of any "contracts" which we enter into (my law school experience is paying off. lol)

All in all I am the business side of the band. The vocalist/guitarist is the main songwriter

Thank you for your time, comments, and listening to my band

Happy sounding songs. Very upbeat. That's good.

It just sort of wanders, melodically, though, doesen't it? I don't hear anything very memorable on page 2, so I stopped.

2nd song was way too long in the intro.

Hope I don't sound too down on you. I don't mean to. I'm the guy who's always looking for strong melodies, & from your stripped down sounds you really need stronger melodies to carry it all off at all.

I like the way the vocals came through so strongly, & although the guitar tones nearly shocked me at 1st, I didn't mind them once the song was underway. I thought you were going to play some rockabilly when the thing started up, from the guitar tone. Good drumming, too.

Many of us don't step outside of BM to listen to new guys. The fact that you have 93 hits on this post & only I have replied thus far tells me that you should post some stuff in here, my man. You could fill out your profile a bit, too. We like to know more about ppl!

Best of luck! Keep writing & recording.

Thanks,

I am only the drummer in the band, I have written some of the lyrics but the melodies are usually written by the guitarist/vocalist. I will eventually post some of my own songs (nothing to do with that band) for your listening. I am not a great singer so That is what holds me back from posting those songs. I will eventually do it though...
