I have no idea...why would it matter to me?

The only gigs that matter are the ones I'm doing now, & the ones coming up...the rest is history

If I had to guess, I'd say around 1.000, but I could be calling it way short

I've been playing music professionally for the last 32 years and working nearly every night of the week. I remember when I was very young, an older musician I worked with said that as musicians age, they become "tainted". I did not know what he meant by this when he said it, but now I do. He said there was nothing you could do to prevent it, it just happens. I still enjoy performing music, but I have become "tainted". He was right! It happens.

I voted 51-100 but I am sure that it has been more than that. I performed in my jazz band, with my students, sitting in with other bands, as a lone soloist. So I am sure that it has been far more than 100 times.

eesh, I'm such a noob. Spent most of my gigging days playing in worthless bands that talked about gigging, but never left the garage.

I've done more gigs in the last 2 months the the rest of my entire 25 years of playing.

So I'm at the <10 level.

By the end of the year, I'm hoping for 40-50 though :D

Yeah the 70`s and early 80`s were filled w/ all sorts of things that probably should not have been ingested but thankfully I have made it through fairly unscathed. Those long jams were a lot of fun and I still get grief from my other band members for stuff like I like to play the 18 minute version of the live get ready or the seventeen minute Tobacco road by Johnny Winter And Edgar Lang. Now, a glass of red helps to relax but it doesn't go much farther than that when playing although a cold brew after is still a favorite. Keep playin that rock and rll, keep doin what you been told.!!MRG2U

I'd be over 2000+ . From 68 to 83 I played 5 nights a week.
