That being said, below is a little story about how we came to be and what we mean to accomplish, and below that is a quick listing of our shows. We have three shows in MA in the next weeks so definitely check the locations. Peace!
We originated in NE CT over five years ago. That was in High School, I had already been playing with Ryan and Kevin (Bassist and other guitarist) for three years when Geoff (Drummer) stepped in full time to solidify the band.
Through out college we kept doin our thing; playing at fests, clubs, school, parties, bars and writing a ton of music. Last year we were in FL where one member finished his last year of school. We played over a 100 shows in FL, and now that we're all done with College, Big Meat is Rockin Full time back in their original home of the North East.
We have a blast on stage. We're all amazing friends, and our comfort with one another is something we try to extend to the audience. The music is the most important thing, always, but we're not afraid to throw some antics your way. We've choreographed Kung Fu Battles, brought out the "Burger King" played the spoons, switched instruments, and have played and performed many more musical shenanigans at our shows.
We do this to have fun and for our fans to have fun. When the audience is happy so are we. We are working to make our music and concerts one of most impressive and enjoyable spectacles ever while keeping it pure and real.
