Your vocals don't seem to fall into the mix well to me. They should stand out, but they sound hollow. Consider the mic, the wires, the filters, effects, how far away you are from the mic(s), the room you record in, etc. Play with it some more. Try layering your vocals or panning them differently. I just don't think that the vocals are well done. Your background is awesome. I was disappointed when I heard the voex.

Well, that's what I get for recording on a $5 microphone I got at wal-mart...I'm planning on buying a better one soon.

Ok, let's see if Bandmix has a politically correct filter. I love to be a real vulgarian in situations that are annoying me, and to that end I feel that cunt is the new f**k. f**k as a word has totally lost its impact, yet a well placed cunt in a wildly inappropriate situation will still have the faint of heart coming down with a case of the vapors!

Use a condeser mic with a pop filter. If you can't get hold of a pop filter, get a coathanger and bend it into a circle and strap a peice of vynol over it. Then tie it to your mic stand, shut the door and put a towel under the crack. Put the headphones on and apply a reverb that cooperates with the music. Turn the mic sensitivity halfway up and get right up on the mic.
