I am still taken aback by the envy and jealousy here, but I do have fans elsewhere.. today while Faron and I were busking at the swap meet an appreciative fan who was also a dealer across from our performance walked over and handed me this today.. "you play great!" was all he said while smiling and handing me this.. it's a vintage PREMIER NEW YORK N.Y. pedal ..I believe it is a line switch pedal. no battery in it.. anybody ever hear of this company? I thought PREMIER was the old vintage British drum co. manufacturer? maybe they had a New York subsidiary? please help.. we also raked in some tips from the seeded guitar case and also I was offered free tomatos by "Tomatoguy" a vegetable vendor at the swap meet most Sundays.. he also complimented me too ..saying he did not know I played a guitar so well..funny though, I never saw one male drop a dollar in the tip case..only females did..empathetic females I guess..

success and popularity are keys to success in the music world but it does not necessitae you have much talent.. anybody can manufacture a soundbyte and then recruit friends on soundcloud, but can you perform it live? and be admired for your talent? LOL :D

for IRS tax purposes, and reporting all income even gifts? I need to set a value on this pedal dollar-wise so it can also be reported as income ?.. just like planetguy does :)

What does it have for connections (if any)? What's on the bottom? Is it on/off or just momentary contact? Looks to be cast, so was not a one-off. MIght not have even been for an amp - I'm thinking a sewing machine switch, if its momentary. Dollar value - probably nothing.

thanks Mike for your interest.. after some research, I found it to be a footswitch for a MULTIVOX PREMIER guitar amp.. from the 1940's to early 1960's.. not sure which model of Multivox Premier amps, but they look to be an expensive vintage amp on ebay I see harp players love certain models for the amplification they emit.. good for harp players.. I would think since this is a rare footswitch $50.00 would not be out of line?

Is there a cable on the thing? I saw one listing of a Multivox Premier on reverb.com with a similar footswitch that had the cable attached, ran to a 1/4" phone plug (not sure if 2 or 3 conductor). that was the only listing on reverb.
$50? Nope. Not worth anything to anyone but an owner of one of those old amps who needed a replacement for some reason. You can get an A/B or momentary switch pedal for less than $20 anywhere.

Still harping on 'playing for pizza', Dayne? get over it. My band is playing at a pizza joint/bar on Saturday. We get paid $$, not pizza.

the pizza comment was a joke, I have no hard feelings for anybody here, especially Planetguy.. I did once, but I am over it.... the pizza comment was probably in bad taste.. yep, bad tasting pizza.. NOT! they no doubt serve great pizza, and if Planetguy sends me bus fare I will be up.. :D

plus the seller made $ on shipping? would not cost $12.95 to ship it..probably made 5 bucks profit on shipping the thing..
