Woo, started out kinda tricky. I do not agree, because here in the L.A. area and I'm sure all over the world, it is hard to find fellows to play the singer/songwriter's music. They all have songs of their own which I think is great. That is why there are a lot of solo artists. HAs nothing to do with ego, just with quality and creative longing.
I love poeple who believe in themselves and are so talented and passionate about their own stuff, that they follow their creative hearts and minds and put just THAt together, one way or another.
I have been asked for several bands lately, but I had to pass, because I could not do my own stuff and I really miss my songs when I don't play them for a while. No ego, just creative longing and huh? I didn't follow the topic starter's relationship with money. What does creative longing have to do with money?
If you make it you make it an d it is way cool!!It is not bad to make money.
A lot of people, also artist make a mistake and judge everything that sounds commercial or has to do with prolifying yourself. Wrong! Writing a good hooky song and producing it well for radio is AN ART!!! right yeah AN ART!! Only geniuses can do so and do so repeatedly. I love love musical geniuses' minds. And money is not bad. Money is just as much a spiritual energy. Everything starts in the spirit before it becomes matter. So money is pure energy. If you think money is bad you will probably have a hard time making it. It is subconscious.
Okay drifting off. Thought it wasn't very cool what topic starter said to our harp player (who happens to be very talented and divers).
and errh okay well, Love and peace, everybody is cool here, and I have just put a new cover on my profile. Losing My Religion by R.E.M.
I have written many original songs, but I just really love that song and felt like putting it down, solo, acoustically. What do you think?
BTW I am a bum, lol! No money for audio. YET haha

hey you gotta think positive a bit
