Saw a FB 'sponsored post' the other night for a free online seminar on how to make money with your music online "guaranteed". So last night I listened/watched the webinar (wasted 8 pages of paper printing out the 'workbook').
Everything was very vague on the methods, just generalities ("think of something else you can provide" - besides your music), and only towards the end do you get the spiel of what it really entails - paying $300 for a set of videos with the 'details', and the kicker is the 'secret method' used to get a huge "superfanbase' is Facebook ads (gee, I wonder who sponsored this racket) - they'll tell you how to target your FB ads effectively, but the $300 videos only give you an abbreviated version of the ad strategy, the full version of that will cost you over $1000!
There was so much BS in this webinar it reminded me of the old time-share condo seminars I sat through back in the 80s (to get the 'free gift').

i know damn too well that money could have gone to mike buying me anyone of a NUMBER of musical toys in that price range. next time, mikey...check w me first about where you place your piastas!
