funny, speaking of analog....i was just looking at my old TEAC 3440 1/4" 4trk and thinking i need to set it up and pull out some of those tapes to see if there's any stuff there i can mine/resurrect.

i swear....some of the best bass sounds i've ever gotten were done w a bass direct into that machine w an instr cable and lightly "saturating" the tape w some hot levels. warmmmmmmmmmmmm. 8)
