Doesn't it make you feel good that all these production companies are coming to BandMix wanting us to sign with them?

I always knew that there were a lot of good musicians here but evidently the secret got out and now the whole world is after them.

Could it be Jeffs new web page? Or Danes new project? Maybe Bobs new CD. or was it one of the other projects that got them sniffing around?

( It sure as hell wasn't my last contribution. )

I sure hope that they don't take all the good pickers away from here. It would really hurt the chat rooms.

nah, not so much.. has any artist ever got signed to a label that frequented BandMix? I ain't heard of nobody?..
but over at OurStage where I used to hang out until they changed the format, there were artists there that made the big time by being associated with OurStage..

Did some of you musicos actually take this as being serious? This was just my caustic sense of humor in response to all the "sign up now" spammers on the forum.

I knew you were not serious, imo, BandMix is more of a site used to find other musicians, but soundclick or our stage have song contests, (at least they used to have), and people win contests by the votes of all members wanting to vote, pitting one tune against another, one artist against another, and some of the winners can get good prizes and such, I think a record deal is a grand prize for each winner of a particular genre entered into a contest, .. never see that happening here, ..

SoundClick doesn't have spammers. Sooooooooo? Bandmix has spammers. We get offers for really great stuff all the time. So try that at SoundClick!!

hey all you talent scouts!.. listen up!.. you will not break up our happy home and tight knit community of jovial musicians that post stuff here, we don't need you stinkin' up the place creating animosity amongst us BandMix troubadors.. we are what we are, and if you don't like it, move on to OurStage where they pit artist against artist in cutthroat competition deciding who has the "best" tune.. nobody can decide who is best, because music is ART not SCIENCE and can not be proven to be the "best".. you have no business here talent scouts..GO AWAY!
