I think your tip jar may be too close to the band! Neat idea to have it on a short mic stand, though. Guess it needs to be bigger - I saw a lot of people walking by it.

That's pretty good. I couldn't learn a measure of that song, much less several minutes of it! I have to check out the one with the vibes. That's my jam!

well, we were about 10 feet from a swimming pool so options for locations were kinda limited! not a great day for the tip jar but not too bad....$54. then again it's a small place w probably less than 40 people there during the entire 3 hr gig.

"bigger tip jar"??? nah, it's not how big your tip jar is but whut ya do with it. at least that's what the ladies have always told me. 8)

thanks, schmed. i'm sure you'd do fine working that tune "Stolen Moments" up. once you're past the head....it's just a Cm blues. i was pretty spazzy on that tune (truth told...most tunes that day)....as i was having trouble w my "palmed pick" motor skills. couldn't seem to transition from fingers to pick very cleanly.

Yeah, but they have to find it first! At first view I couldn't figure out what it was. A swimming pool at a winery? Or just a decorative pool?

used to be a straight up motel (they still have some rooms for rent). it's a for real pool still filled as of last weekend w a large 10 ft. facsimile of a wine bottle overhanging and pouring into the shallow end opposite us.

it's a wonder we weren't running to the bathroom every 5 min having to listen to that.
