I am new to the area and I miss jamming loud and proud. Is there any spaces available in the Morgantown area. I would like a long term space.

Thanks, :?:

I haven't been around this forum for very long, but you're the first poster I've seen from West Virginia. You might want to check craigslist or ask at the local musical instrument emporeum. 8)

I've used rental storage for that on several occasions in GA and FL. Not a lot of services but they electricity and usually you're not bothering anyone.

In the same boat around here- just south of Boston,MA.
Not too many places/spaces...the music mill should open on the south shore along with a few others... and be staffed by caring business minded musicians/rockers not theives, pirates, schmucks, whole asses...

Storage units are a great place to use. Most are gated with security and cameras, and are far enough away from residential areas that you won't get the cops called on you if your loud. Also for a little more money you might be able to get a climate controlled unit which would be ideal for summer and winter jamming.

I would hope anyone with the intentions of practicing amplified music with a drum set in the mix would check with the front office about the rules on that stuff, first. Believe me, they have rules.
Otherwise, the place turns into Mad Max world. It would only take one Saturday afternoon.
Just look at the other "patrons" the next time you go on
down there to get your fake Xmas tree, or kiddie pool.
They're the exact people that I don't want to hear or see my
music gear, or "pawn shop candy" as they would probably call it.
Do you trust one or two padlocks that much?
