I would blanket your area with: 1) posts on Craigslist, and; 2) circulars on bulletin boards at local recording/rehearsal studios and music shops (i.e. Guitar Center, Sam Ash).

I'd forget the age stuff. I'm rather up there in years and I can't imagine how boring it would be to only play with folks my age. You may be costing yourselves some good players who can bring something to the mix you might just like.

I imagine you all have thought about though so I am not offended if blow off my un-soliciated advice - always the worst kind!
