Does it ever drive you crazy that people don't listen quietly, attentively, respectfully to live music?

We created a solution. It's a "listening room" in the historic old Shillito bldg. in downtown Cincinnati.

We bring in touring folk, pop and acoustic rock artists who don't usually play Cincy and pair them with complimentary local acts. Plus, we present them in a quiet and cozy spot with a true “listening room” vibe where you really hear the artists. It's not a noisy club or bar or restaurant. We even ask the audience to turn off their phones and turn on to the tunes.

We are new ... non-profit ... and all proceeds go to the artists. We're like a modified house concert but on a larger scale. We even offer free soft drinks and free snacks and have in comfy leather chairs and couches. It's a different way to listen to music.

We don't do this to make money. We do this for the love of the music and to bring the listening room concept to the Queen City. Check out our sites below and please please please help us spread the word so we can keep this thing going for the artists and the audiences. Share our info on facebook and twitter an whatever social media you can.

Thanks and come visit us sometime to enjoy the shhhhhhhow!

Cool that you are doing this as a non-profit. From the 2 shows you have listed ($10 tickets), you are aiming at less-known artists, obviously. Hope you can keep the seats filled. The BYOB concept is used by a similar place near me (but they are for-profit) and they charge a $3 'glass fee' to anyone who wants to drink. Inevitably there are the clink of bottles, kicked empties on the floor, etc.
