Going to take a while to get used to this look. Don't get fooled by the rolling ads at the top of the page - I got one about 'new message', but it was spam thing to download some program.

As you have no doubt noticed, George and I are no longer forum moderators. The admin has decided to go a different route and will be doing the moderating themselves. They have also updated the site rules - please read them!
I'm sure this will make Glen very happy, and now he can take it on himself to contact any of the people who supposedly left because of the moderating, let them know 'he won' and they can come back.

I like the look/ layout. Are the logging in several times to post glitches resolved? About to find out, I guess.

So far, so good.
I will say, however, that the BLUE lettering is not as good as black lettering.
Black lettering on a white background is the easiest to read.
Also - case in point - as I type this, I notice that this is dark grey lettering.
Again, this is certainly harder to read.
"New" isn't always "improved," but it should be a simple matter to change, if you're so inclined.
What do you think?

Agreed - there should be some choices in 'skin'. I wonder if we can embed videos now?

More and stricter moderation is no victory . . . more like a consequence of the constant complaining.
I like the new format so far. Though it will likely take some time for me to learn how to utilize it effectively.

You accurately noted that this is a "consequence."

It's the same way with the United States. People are worrying that God will Judge us. They are I think, a bit late to the party! That's why I try to avoid political discussions - I don't think there is anything political about what is happening here!

Freedom is a very special thing. Sadly it so often degrades to 'license.' And leads to 'consequences...'

For all the rancor, this was the last remaining unmoderated free speech discussion zone I could find on the internet. Now it will be tempered because a small minority wouldn't temper themselves. I appreciate that they let it go on as long as it did before bringing down the hammer.

Still learning the new boards but it looks like an improvement.

Indeed . . .
I like the clear indicator of whom is on line at any given time.
It makes for an "almost" instant messaging type of situation where we can communicate in real time if we desire.
