I get these announcements on my phone. Why do they not come through when I login to the website? I have to login to Bandmix, then open my email, then click one of the links to the people, and it then opens a new tab with this information on it.

Is there a setting somewhere that I missed?

Photos of area members should be prominent on your home page.

I get these emails sent to me all the time and these are not new people. Some of these people have been online since 2008 and yet BM is telling me they're "new in my area". Horse crap.

The top section of the email shows new profiles that are in your area. Below that there is a 'recommended' section which is non-new profiles close to your zip code. You may also be getting an email notice of 'bandmix members who viewed your profile'.

You can do a search by state or zip code when you come to Bandmix. You don't have to log into Bandmix to view the 'new musicians', just click on the links.
