I am an app developer and I am looking to extend my portfolio. Therefore I am writing here to help bands who want to promote their music but have no funds or have a very little founds. Here what I would like to offer:
I will make absolutely for FREE an Android app promoting music band. Purpose of the app is purely information (no sale via app). Android market is the fastest growing app market and thousands of potential listeners are out there!

Usually only the creators and performers of the music get the "free" end of the deal.

Exactly - is this going to be a 'free' ap to the end-user? I'm still in the dark ages as far as this technology goes. I mean I understand why someone would want an ap for the weather, or traffic, that kind of thing. But what purpose would a band/musician ap serve someone?
