so, youtube has been real squirelly lately on my computer. stop/start video, distorted audio, or no audio at all. i've run scans for bugs and recently defragged....no go. any ideas?

Older OS or browser version that is not compatible with flash player? Try updating all three and see if that helps. I run a Macbook Pro from 2009 and a while ago had similar problems. Updating all my software and drivers fixed it and the machine runs faster than new.

Probably a Flash problem. I get the stop/won't start problem frequently as well as Firefox hanging up for a minute then a "Shockwave Flash has crashed" pop-up. Usually re-loading the youtube page (sometimes a couple of times) gets it working. Never had audio problems, though.
