Greetings, Sports-Fans!
I was that kid! I don't know... It's kind of this story about a bicycle... That's what I thought...
Wham! I'm in a high-energy mosh!
They were reluctant to help me up off the field...
The decibel levels in a high-energy concert are a factor. Without perhaps dangerous volume levels, most metal songs are popular dance-club songs. There are safety regulations for these things!
It's even in the lyrics. "The dead lay in pools of maroon below..." Jeremy, from Ten... I might consider these lyrics to be pervasive, or misleading... It's a Pearl Jam record. Do these lyrics attract the wrong element to these concerts? As I said on Twitter, "Metal is for Physicians!"
I gave up on buying Pearl Jam records around the "No Code" release. The concert I attended predated the fatalities noted in Denmark. Pearl Jam appeared in Portland, with Neil Young. It was around 1995.
Jango seems to have billed me with Van Halen, recently. That's a good record. It's like soft-rock from hell...
Stay safe! Have some fun!
Sincerely,
Robert Lee Kumpf
