General Music Chat

Got a call from my old friend who mastered my first CD. He's in town with his boss, and going to see the boss's wife (Pegi Young) at a nearby venue. Could be a late night! Hope I can get a picture with the 'boss'!

Have a good time Mike! We're off to the studio for session number 6, hopefully get the vocals done tonight so we can get to mixing.

I guess we do alright for old f*ckers! Keep on rocking!

Didn't get to meet Neil - because he played the entire show, standing about 8 ft from me (unfortunately, with his back to me a lot of the time), as I was sitting at the "Pegi Young reserved' table to one side of the stage.

This was a special night - Neil doesn't do this kind of thing ever. There are windows on one side of the club that face out to the sidewalk. By the end of the show, there were 100 people out there watching and listening, videoing and applauding (they were even talking about it on teh radio during my ride home). I hadn't met up with my friend in 35 years, although we communicate regularly, we're on opposite sides of the continent, so a good night overall.
