Fame has it's pitfalls. Ask anyone who is. To become famous would change my life in ways I do not desire. To get paid for what I do naturally without people knowing where it is coming from is perfect to me. Those that are famous complain about getting chased by cameras everywhere. They live in a fishbowl. There are always people who disagree with what you present or represent.This forum is a classic example. Then, there's this- there is only a window of time you can remain famous. Then, no matter of how well you did in what you have done, people will deny ever hearing your name because it dates them. Ask someone if they know Walter Brennan for example. If you are old enough to know who he was- you are as old as the pyramids. Nuts? Well, that is your opinion. You are welcome to it. I helped this nation provide you with that right for your freedom of speech to say so- in as far as any American can do. I was programmed to be nuts... to a point. "Nuts" by definition would be someone contrary to contemporary norms in which he lives. A suicide bomber from the middle east is a hero from where he comes. An American man whom has been trained to go to places you will never understand being there, has it's rewards you will never get. Being called "nuts by someone whom has never accomplished anything for God or country is not bothered. I am certified in many, MANY, ways you will never accomplish. Certifiable- yes. I've got that. What is it with people "fighting" on the web? We should be here to support each other, not sling mud. I try and be as supportive as possible. Give encouragement if possible. I know I occasionally argue, but usually that has little or nothing to do with music. I think everybody here should be given props for making any money or gigging in this rotten economy.
