I was recently contacted by one whom is obviously a "premier" member.
My rather lengthy response to his questions about my amps was apparently blocked TWICE by BandMix.
Short ( single sentence type replies were delivered with no issues.

Intentional . . . ? Quite seemingly so.

Strike . . . two . . .

Have considered renewing my "paid" membership.

Now . . . I just don't see any reason to do so . . . if they are going to arbitrarily restrict responses to me.

That's bullshyt :?

George, This has happened to me too... I don't think its intentional on their part. What I think is happening, is the server hiccups from time to time and doesn't always capture the post. (either a Conflict with an ID value or an unsupported character in the content, somewhere. I cant be sure...

For what it is worth, i stopped paying membership, cause i just dont see the point in keeping it..its like all I'm paying for is an email account...

Perhaps your right. But for two separately typed paragraphs to instead of being delivered to return me to my sign in page ( hours apart I might add )
Seems more a deliberate setting than a glitch.

I'm pretty sure it will only allow you to reply ONCE to any message sent to you.

It seemed to reject my response based on the size.

Young man contacted me via my E-Mail . . . at least that got through the fog

No, the reply is based on a 24 hour period once you actually reply, I think.

I'm not really sure but I went to reply to someone that had sent me email earlier and sure enough, no dice.

Twice I attempted to reply in paragraph to the gentleman's questions in regard to the amps we use.
Both time it re routed me to my sign on page when I attempted to send.
However my short answers ( IE did you get my message ) went through with no hitch.

I was also able to send him my personal E mail address immediately after having another paragraph rejected.

If it's a glitch . . . it's more consistent than most anything else they do.

Possible . . . not probable. I've never have too log back in during long sessions of search or forum use.

It's easy enough to test . . .

One of you whom maintain a premier membership can send me a short message to which I can respond at length.

Or we can jus forgedaboudit . . . I will from hence forth respond with my personal Email anyways soooo . . . problem solved.

The timeout timer resets every time you click something, so it won't time out while you're searching, and the forum is on a different system than the bandmix site proper. Typing in a box is completely client-side until you hit "send", so as far as the server's concerned you're just sitting on your hands and it can go ahead and log you out.

Ah . . . OK
That could explain the recent incident.
It does not however account for why it's not occurred before.
I'm sure this was not the only verbose reply I ever sent.
