Never driven the BRP but did about 40 miles of Skyline Drive a few summers ago, hardly any traffic at the time. Stayed a few nights a couple of times inthe Shenandoah Valley, and driven the valley many times in the fall.
We'd probably look at the Richmond area, if/when we ever move.

When people ask me why I write depressing music, I just tell them I live in Milwaukee.

Because I am no engineer, merely a writer/composer/performer and after working with one guy last night, he really showed me how much I don't know.

I learned a lot and pumped out another tune, but you have to leave the real titles to those who own them via knowledge and ability.

I use Cakewalk Sonar, but I am just a puppy in a land of big dogs in that regard and although it's just a reference to Star Trek, people are confused.

I don't want to repeat the fact that "I'm no sound engineer/production type" again or as much.

If you need the raw materials, that's me. I'll write whatever you need and pump it out like it came out of the faucet but I don't mix and/or master only because I don't know enough to do anyone's material justice.

I think the worst sin in the world is being responsible for mixing/mastering someone's hard work and doing a horrible job.

That's either "sabotage or just plain idiocy", take your pick.

That's why I changed my handle, "too much confusion".

He will always be a Cap'n in my book.

Yikes, relax man I'm just another dingdong with nothing much going on.
(The technicians make me sound better than I deserve to sound, I just play em..)

Every time I hit the studio, I got some other jack ass telling me what the dilly-o is.

And now I am picking up new members of the haters club, like JCP.

Reminds me of this little thing I went to in order to check out this one guy who was playing. At the end, he singled my ass out of the crowd and I tried hard to get away but there was nowhere to run.

He kept prompting me to do a tune, so I played that My Friend 222 cover.
He had some really nice equipment including a "Pigtronix Mothership".

Long story short, I played that sucker for about 10 minutes and roasted that fool.

After he asked me what I did to his pedal to get those sounds and I told him I had no idea except I was leaning on the ring modulator pretty hard.

Next time when I tell you "no", take the hint. If you don't wanna be upstaged, don't call people out.

Sometimes it's awful, but sometimes you may just get a sonic ass whup that leaves a mark. He didn't just get a mark, he got a "branding". lol

Funny you say that, Paul - my wife and I have loved our visits to Virginia, and once our elderly mothers are no longer around, it's in our sights.

Same issues here. When my folks no longer need my presence we could start a musicians retirement home.
