Ha! That ought to show him.

I used to live in a duplex where my neighbor's alarm in the morning would LOUDLY play disco everyday at 6 AM. Since I was usually coming in from the gig about 4 AM, I didn't really appreciate him getting up that early with such fanfare.

So one Saturday night after the gig, we brought in the band's PA system and set up on the wall common to our respective apartments. This was the late 70s when a pair of Peavy SP1s were so large it took a truck to carry them. The band then busted into some Led Zepplin for only about 5 minutes (didn't want the police to come)

Oh, man...he was shaken out of bed and came running over to see what kind of stereo we had that was making all his roaches run away.

No, my disability is the combination of CVI (Chronic Vascular Insufficiency) throughout my body, with severe depression and Avoidant Personality Disorder.
Anxiety is just a symptom.
If it were just ONE thing, it might be manageable.
But, the combination is killing me.

I left out a few things because they are not officially considered part of my disability.

Some doctors believe that I am bipolar.
But, it is not officially listed as part of my disability.
My "manic" states may just be from all the caffeine I often take to avoid being constantly depressed.
I had read in Psychology Today once that caffeine is a natural antidepressant.
Before I was prescribed antidepressants, I would easily take about a dozen caffeine tablets a day.
That is not including coffee and diet colas (minimum 2 liters a day).

I am also recognized by my former therapists as mildly obsessive-compulsive.
But, it is not currently considered severe enough to require treatment.
So, at least I am not as bad as detective Adrian Monk, yet.

Chief Engineer Scott wrote:I use the local Employment section in the news paper as a job barometer.

We used to have, say 5 pages of HELP WANTED ads.

Now we have not even 1/2 a page.

That's because almost everyone uses online ads now - cheaper than newspaper ads by a long shot.

Not really.

There was a push for CL to use as a want ad replacement, but that's not all that successful considering that a ton of fly by night jerk offs selling knives door to door have seized the moment.

It's been over run by temp agencies as well. (ecch)

In the Boston area, we went from a Boston SUnday Glove help wanted that was sometimes 40 pages to no more than 5-6. Everyone uses Monster.
