Does my picture show up at the left, right here, when you view this post?
I swapped my pictures, and now all I see is a blank box.
I don't know if others also see a blank box.
Nothing works to restore it.
Nothing.
I reset, updated, deleted, put up the original, uploaded, reset, set as main. etc., etc. . . .a nd did every possible combination - nothing.

If my picture was too big, or the wrong format or something, then swapping back to the original picture would have fixed it.

Anybody have this problem - what'd you have to do to fix it?
I'd ask bandmix, but usually they don't answer people . . .

Did you delete the previous image before uploading the new one? This might explain it; it takes a day or two before the new image becomes your avatar image.

I guess they must review the pictures for questionable content, or something then, when / (IF) they get around to it.
That probably means that all my work to fix it was a waste of time, and all I did was to keep putting myself at the end of the 'review line.'

I can't see ya yet, but thank the gods those nasty lookin' fingers are gone!

Yeah, maybe that's it - they changed their rating system here, and decided not to allow "R- rated' fingers.

I use that picture to show I really do play all the time. I paid my dues, and I'm still paying . . . my calluses are about 1/16" - 1/8" thick . . .
It only takes 1 - 2 days for my fingers to regain a normal appearance.

We discussed this in another thread, as some of us were having problems with it also. And it appears that when you change your default profile pic, you need to update it in forums as well.

From your bandmix home, click the following:


1) Account Options

2) Set Forum Information

3) Update


It worked for us anyway. It still may take a short time frame to work, but at least for us, it did work.

Cool it seems to change the pic on all of the posts, even the older ones.
