Did an open mic last night, probably the first of many, now that Instant Karma is defunct and I search for an acoustic partner or duo.

This was a better experience than my last OM - big turnout, lots of players, some not-so-good. I knew the 'host' (worked with him 20+ years ago), so got to go on early and did 3 songs: Into The Mystic, Locomotive Breath and my new original What About the Children.

I've done "Locomotive Breath" on acoustic and electric, it works on both. Another good one to do acoustically from that album is "Won'dring Aloud". We do "Aqualung" currently, a lot more going on in that one. Definitely one of the top 100 albums of all time.

I do 'Wind Up' from that album, too, acoustically - love the fast part. Not many non-Tull fans know that song, though.
