Yod's idea is not as crazy as it sounds - but there are kinds of anxiety and depression it doesn't really help with.

It does calm one down.

I've been fried emotionally for the last five months though and nothing seems to help. I used Welbutrin for a while when I was quitting nicotine but it made me fell really ragged. And all these mass shooters are on drugs designed to 'calm them down.'

Once in LA, a guy gave me a valium. I'd heard of them and thought 'cool.'
Luckily I touched it to my tongue first. That part of my tongue went numb. It seemed pretty obvious how the damned thing worked so I tossed it.

Bob I took a lot of different things, oh yeah dont use Xanax, Ive been there and got the t-shirt. That sh*t shouldnt be on the market in my opinion.

I settled on Celexa, and feel great everyday. You may have to try a few different things to find one that suits you, but you will have to try things for a month or so before you can be sure, but if something doesnt seem to be working then tell your doc and change til you find something.

Good Luck

Hey Bob, my wife takes that colonozpen or however you spell it- It's really great for all-out anxiety attacks. It WILL affect your ability to drive- for such a tiny pill, it packs a serious punch and has a very strong narcotic effect- I would compare it to the same level as about 6-8 beers.

I've mentioned before about doing an all-natural diet, but also for me, what really helped more than anything was biking.. I started training last winter, riding 2x per week, on top of daily exercising (15-20 minutes, nothing too heavy), and not only lost weight and got into better shape, but also my anxiety lessened.

NOW.. last summer after a 66-mile bike-a-thon, I decided to lock up my bike in the stairwell at my apartment and within a day, someone stole everything on it that wasn't locked down.. yes, even the damn handlebars.

I haven't been able to afford to replace the stuff (or buy a new bike), but my anxiety got the best of me, I stopped exercising, and my anxiety then soared.. I went on wellbutrin, which made everything even worse, it actually caused depression and even more anxiety, I started thinking about killing myself and took myself off it (and got better mentally), but the anxiety still is an issue-

My message is that colonopin variants can be useful, but use them only in extreme circumstances where you are having an actual attack, and be weary of dependency or using them too often. I personally plan to start riding again very soon, one way or another.. it's really great.. for a few hours 2x a week, I can leave the world behind and just enjoy nature and decent exercise.

Good luck

Bob, you know I love you brother and I'd not disrespect you intentionally so please understand what I'm going to say I say in love and respect for you as a man.

I've been an RN for some time and an LVN before that.
I have worked in most every environment imaginable form pediatrics to geriatrics, psych to ortho, long term, acute ETC.

My professional observation is this.

People whom experience these type of difficulty are frequently helped with the symptomology utilizing pharmaceuticals.

However the end result is usually two problems, the original and a drug problem.

It's the ones whom learn to free their minds of these travails independently that are the only ones ever "free".

Drugs are not the answer . . . they never will be.

You do what you feel you must.
I will pray you find your way back to happiness and health.

SUre you have, but you prolly been calling them Govt workers, annoying neighbors or any other variety of tags to help decipher the categories... Bullies are everywhere Bob. You can tell them apart by the assertive/aggressive or passive aggressive natures... But mainly, they impose themselves and their doctrines on anybody who takes the world lying down. They are predatory, in so much as they will disregard your welfare in favor of their own, to the point that they will let your life decline in order to elevate their own lives.

Its everywhere Bob, and while you may 'think' you are unaffected, the truth is you have been impacted severely. Want proof? Ask your self why the Doctors wont actually 'cure' cancer. Why does the IRS thinks its okay to gouge your Salary? Who the hell is the guy that cust in front of the line?...Why does Jimmy pretend to be all nice to everybody in the forum, about the same time he begins to plug his latest CD (He doesn't give a Fk about anybody on this forum, really...) The Bulliness is everywhere, Bob...and i'm saying that every once in a while, it might be okay to just sucker-punch a bastard and watch him writhe on the floor as we remind him of what a piece of sh*t he really is... I'm telling you, its a fantastic stress reliever, in rare circumstances, its prolly much healthier than the pills.
