Wow!

You guys did a great job on that site.

The page builder has alot of options, and allows others without HTML knowledge, to change the look and feel and layout of their pages very easily.

The newsletter subscribe feature is great too!

Maybe I shouldn't have played around with it before I find out what you are going to charge me for permanent use though. LOL

Here's what I did in about 30 minutes to an hour...

Good job guys!

Hope it is successful for you. Free would be better though! ;-)

Hey Craig,

Great site, glad that you had a good experience using the builder! And yes when you upgrade your site on bandvista, you get your own domain name for your site, and you also get free premier membership on bandmix and on gigleader.com. The prices for the Bandvista website are currently $14.95 / month with discounts for longer periods of time purchased. We also have a lot of new features being added to the builder. Anyone can try it out for free, just visit www.bandvista.com

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm convinced this is a very good thing. Anyone serious enough about their music to "take it out of the garage and into a paying situation" should consider what such a website could do for their "business".
I have been using Bandmix for little over two months as a nonpaying member. None the less, I have made contact with three drummers (one of which I'm getting together with this week), and two guitarist.
It now seems plausible that I could have a working band in the near future. I will then strongly consider taking advantage of this offer.
Thanks BandMix.

I think $15 per month is too much.

You can find standard webhosting available for less than $5 per month these days, and use a real domain name, as opposed to the sub-domain offered.

I think a better business model would be to charge 29.99 for 6 months or 49.99 per year. When the price is reasonable, paying a year in advance is much easier. When people have the money to spare, they can pay for a full year at a reasonable rate and then not have to worry about it for awhile. A lower price typically is paid back in volume business. In my business, I used to sell a dozen roses for $20.00 per dozen cash and carry. I lowered the price to $5.99 per dozen cash and carry, as an experiment and I tripled my profits immediately, from sheer volume.

Of course, the business is not the same, but the business principle is.

Thank you all for your feedback.

We understand that general web hosting is much cheaper, but you will still have to have a design customized and then add programming to get the features we offer. We offer Site Design along with industry features for your site and you also you get premier membership on both gigleader.com and bandmix.com which are $9.95/month each.

For the private domain, you do get your own domain www.anythinghere.com when you upgrade from the trial.

Also, we know this isn't for everyone, but hope that this helps to explain the price point we've spent a long time developing this service thinking about what musicians really need from a private website.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
