All You Zombies Hide Your Face's!

Looking at what was "modern" in 1986 makes me feel old.

I forgot all about this song Mike! It has such a 60's sound to it. Not one of their more popular tunes but just as good as anything REO ever did and age appropriate! 1984 was a vintage year indeed! 8)

The Hooters were a good band, they combined the 80s rock sound (guitars and organ) with mandolin and other unusual (to rock of the time) instruments.

REO - hair band with some radio hits, they are still playing in some incarnation or another.

We used to do "And We Danced" by The Hooters back in the 80's. I still have the 45.

Being from Philly, they were local boys back in the early 80's - the radio station wmmr at the time really embraced them and played some of their singles- 'All you zombies' was pretty much their breakthru hit, although they later went national and that song ended up being behind some of their later material, it was by all measure the song that made them famous.

Still my favorite song of theirs by far, and 'Johny B' is prob my second favorite. They actually played my high school haha, it was 'meh' being that at the time, I would much rather have seen Twisted Sister :P

They were really big here all thru the 80's. I have played most of their hits at one time or another.

Hey Kramer

WWMR? That brought back some memories. I grew up in Elkton MD and that's where we got our 'alternative' music. I remember some good parties and some wonderful girls from that time.

But all my rowdy friends have settled down....
