Okay friends, I just remixed it and took your advise! Please let me know how it sounds on your computer and if you think I should change somethings! It is the first song on my player. I'll get this right "with a little help from my friends"

So why aren't you a rockstar. Much better mix.

Now not to blow your cookies out of the water,,,, this is pretty close to being perfect. The one verse after your solo ,,,, Now they wonder for the rest of their lives. Get rid of the word FOR. It Kills the prosody and and makes it stumble.

Other than that little tiny stupid thing that is a songwriting thing, it is a great recording.

It's cool Glen! I am gonna have to go back to the individual tracks. The lyric is supposed to be "and now they wonder the rest of their lives where did we go wrong, a little love can not fix things now because the son is gone!

Folks this song at least to me is about recognizing your kids and life for that matter before it is too late!

My wife liked it, too! (but she laughed when I told her you still have a mullet!)

I didn't get to listen to it before the remix so I can't comment on that part but the song itself is really well done. Your best for sure. Of course Katie is still my favorite guitar instrumental.

I have thought about cutting the Mullet but my wife likes it and I like having long hair without it getting in my eyes! So I guess the WORLD is stuck with my mullet. It very well may be the last one still in existence. You know I am thinking maybe they should put the mullet on the endangered species list!

Thanks Glen, I have always been a variety guitar player. I enjoy and REALLY prefer to play all genre's EXCEPT RAP OR HIP HOP! One thing I feel I do well is write guitar solo's! Being a guitar player actually writing a solo like a song within a song is important to me. This particular song was a lot of fun to write and record. There are actually 5 guitar parts, base, drums and 2 vocal tracks. I prefer a 3 part vocal harmony but ran out of tracks. Really I am just getting started I have so many ideas. However I am very limited with those caned drums. the Drummer in M.I. toured all over the world and is a writer in his own right. With him playing drums on the songs that I don't have recorded yet, all I can say is WOW! I have to figure out how to email the Wave files so he can add the drums and email it back to me. I am a song writer NOT AN ENGINEER! Having said that I really, Really enjoy the process of writing, performing, producing and engineering. hopefully within the next few years I'll really get the hang of recording engineering. At least enough to get my songs recorded. At Christmas break I intend on finishing the build out of my studio! I have TONS of Auralex you guys are gonna sh!t when you see how dead I can make that room! I have a friend that is VERY experienced in building recording studios and will get a lot of free advise from him.
