This isnt me.... http://youtu.be/ca9GuwuOVZc
But it sums up my reaction to what you just said.
You have a small mind and vocabulary to cuss.
If anything I am lacking in mechanical talent. I have spent my musical life trying to get my mechanical talent to catch up with my emotional Understanding of music. Music is only emotion to me. All of it. All of music is emotion.

Again I risked sounding like a buffoon trying to debate you on this. I knew I would. But yes you irritated me that much.

The following is an example of following my muse. All this is is emotion. The mechanical skill of it is lacking. I can't expect you to hear or rather feel the nuances. But I'm going to share it anyway. And yes it's the CBG, The most powerful musical tool I've ever owned.

... Too much hypo here
in this here crite....

You are very disingenuous and predictable. From my point of view there was no debate. You are ego-maniacal and you obviously cant take opinions from others (if they don't suit your ego) .

Call me any name you want..But at the end of the day, Neanderpaul, in my world, Your just a sideman with an unrequited need to set your self apart from your banal, middle class back drop ...Politely stated.. You are a Rebel without a real cause .

I'm done here.
8)

This is why I bucked up to you and called you out. You are wrong. Simply put I cannot have "mechanical only talent" if I have never had a lesson and I can't read music. My only understanding of music is emotion. That makes you wrong. I have gotten plenty of constructive criticism from people here and never reacted like this. I had to call you out and stand up for myself because of the garbage you are slinging.

Sideman? I'm pretty sure there needs to be at least another person involved my music for me to be a sideman.

Middle class? Seriously? Like that's a bad thing. Nancy, I am living the dream.

I passed on a review of one of your song critique posts as I didn't have anything nice to say. I was baffled actually.

So did you like what Tom Hanks had to say about this?

I don't sling Garbage, NP... Nor was I attacking you. I expressed an opinion (Mine only) and you got your panties all up in a bunch. It's garbage in your mind because I dared to step outside of your box of expectations. I'm not the sheep you wish me to be. So, What exactly have you called me out on?

Have I committed some felony here?

Maybe what upsets you is the manner in which I delivered my opinion? Okay, then allow me to rephrase it for the sake of kinder and gentler exchange.

Neanderpaul can successfully deliver hours of amusement and entertainment. As audiences throughout the United States marvel at his mechanical playing skills (performed on an awesome cigar-Box shaped guitar) they may have noticed a salient fact about many of his You-Tube video...(songs); Theme has reliably become iconic. The signature emerges the same again and again. In the meantime, we hope to see his musical composition skills morph themselves with the same degree of innovation that we witness through his mastery of the Looper. We would hate to see this artist's work condemned and resigned to the constraints of "pattern capturing", lest he be called an extraordinary, musically interactive disc jocky, as opposed to a song-writer.

Anyway I say it, that's what I say... Sorry it upsets you.

You woke up one morning...
Your head was filled with a burning desire to ask a question on Bandmix, that involved opinions about other bandmixers...What exactly did you think would happen? Ha ha! :D

The kid that's in Korea right now, and Mikey from Washington - both ready for prime time, 'now'.

I have respect for everyone else, except one.

Some years ago I posted a similar topic. I said "No BACK SLAPPING!" :D
We eventually got a sort of top 5. Not one for bandwagons me, I have a mind, thankfully. There are a number of newbies on here whose music I like, in fact there are a number of newbies around everywhere, not just here.
If you cannot have your cake and eat it, then eat everyone else's. :D

Ooof I think I missed this initially.

I am guilty of skimming/reading and sometimes miss details.

Sorry Zipper. I'd relax a little and just wait.

My buddies kid was in a similar situation and it did work out.
It just took longer than they anticipated.
And in the meantime his parents worried themselves prematurely grey.
