this is an unproductive waste of time, but I watched this video.. and wonder first off how this is relevant in any way to any truth or fact. It's a amateur op-ed at best.
But blah, let's review the 5 points she brings up:
1) Partial birth abortion. She uses hand-drawn imagery to show what is assumed to be a full-term healthy baby being half-born and then ruthlessly killed, all to make a point that doesn't exist. Partial birth abortion ban was signed into law in 2003 by GWB.

Also, Obama didn't vote for partial birth abortion 3 times, he voted against a bill that would have outlawed it in the state senate, citing that it was a bill that was a wolf in sheeps clothing, designed to undermine roe vs. wade and that he has in congress voted against legalizing it.

This is a classic case of the spin machine starting lies and repeating them on such a massive scale that everyone believes it to be common knowledge.
Next she mentions obamacare and death panels- talk about misinformation..
"death panels" have been definitively proven a lie ever since the day the term was invented, yet the right wing shamelessly continues to repeat the lie. The truth means nothing to these people. Shameless. Shamless. Shameless. I can't say it enough times.
2) gay marriage.. really? She claims that once gay marriage is legal, that gays are going to unite and wage a gay war against hetro marriage...
Are you f**k kidding me? Really? How can anyone make it past the 2:25 mark in this video? Is "winning" really worth that much to you? (directed at the people who made and posted the video)

3) Israel, Iran... The video focuses on obama refusing to meet with the president of israel when they were both in NYC, and the woman explains that obama did the tonight show instead, painting a picture that obama "blew him off", when the reality of it was that obama pre-taped that earlier in the week and it only aired on the same day as the president of israel was in town. They both had scheduling conflicts that were mutal, and agreed to speak by phone, which they did. This who drama was made up and parroted by "anonymous" bloggers and spineless politicians repeating it.

They also claim obama refuses to work with israel, and wont act on the Iran threat. THen goes on to claim that romney will..
Well, not everyone agrees that Iran IS a threat.. in fact, the evidence seems to support that they are nowhere near the ability to make a bomb and that a pre-emptive strike would destabalize the entire persian/arab regions for what is nothing but saber-rattling at this point. Obama knows that and is using caution with flinging nukes at iran just cause israel wants us to back them up. It's a bad move and I happen to agree with obama on this one, and am extremely relieved he's not racing into yet another unwinnable war unnecessarily. Romney is a fool for promising war.
4) Apologizing for the anti-muslim video. They paint obama as a jerk for "apologizing to muslims for an american for exercising their first amendment rights".
First off- Governments apologize all the time for moral and physical offenses. The USA probably is the among least apologetic nations in the world. This has absolutely zero to do with first amendment rights or our own self-image. Someone did something on a very grand scale to offend an entire religion. Of course they have the right to do it, and the video is still up, isn't it?
Having the right to do something offensive doesn't mean it should or needs to be done. If you take the time to read up on the intentions behind the first amendment when it was created as well as it's transformation and history, you will find that in the past, it was felt that yes, you have the right to say it, and won't be criminally punished by any law enforcement agency, BUT, if someone wants to kill you for something you said.. well.. you brought that on yourself.
So what if he apologized that some of our citizens took it upon themselves to offend more than a billion people? I think it shows some class, frankly.
Hillary: "The US government had nothing to do with that video. We absolutely reject it's content and it's message". That's a good apology, and shows some class. Giving the middle finger and telling a billion people to "suck it up" is not classy.
They then show the guy who made the video hiding, escorted by police, claiming he shouldn't have to fear for his life for making the video..
Well DUH, what a dumbass... the same thing happened to the dutch cartoonist who offended them in much the same manner... and at least the dutch guy was honest enough to own up that he knew it would earn him a death-mark. How can anyone think because he's in the USA that somehow he's immune to consequences for doing something that utterly stupid? Darwin would be shaking his head in resignation on this one.
Then the video goes on to say a whole bunch of crap about the UN wanting to band provocative religious speech and then connects jesus's messages of heaven to being banned and that Obama is basically forcing the entire world into being muslims.. or something like that.. her message becomes so outlandish and she parrots so many presumptions based on nonsense that one doesn't have enough time in the day to address each idiotic thing she says.
5) Blaming all our economic woes on obama..
This is where I DO take issue with Obama.. but lets face the facts- GWB and wall st put us on a bee-line towards a full scale depression. I believe that the stimulus plan is the ONLY reason we didn't go into a much deeper depression than we've seen. My issue is that obama does dodge some of the responsibility. My issue with the video is that they place ALL of the blame at Obama's feet, as if he walked into a surplus and spend it all.. like GWB did.
