The stereo outputs, as in a signal, ( 1/4 inch out ) remain separated and I run them both L/R to channels 17/18 & 19/20 on the mixer for playback. I linked the headphone out jacks for monitoring with a splitter.
Once the dual units are in Master/Slave configuration and linked to your computer it gives you all sixteen channels on your screen.
I do not use a computer at this time in the Metalshop as it's just too freaking hot. I also have yet to put a compatible program on my wife's lap top.
I was unable to get Cubase LE to import my wav files from SD cards, so I'm using Audacity right now to play with the files I've recorded.
Still in the experiment and learn phase for sure, and with my having to work the Hospital this weekend it may be a while before I get anything up to square.
