Trying to recoup after a tour that went for 5 months and covered the entire USA, north to south, west to east.

Had 4 days at home since I left January 5th. Whew...did concerts in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, California, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

I'm home and playing only places where I can come directly home afterwards for the next 6 weeks. I've been touring for 10 years now, non-stop for the last 6 years, so I'm thinking I might try to make it "locally" for the next year. Will focus more on television and audio production...see how long before I get bored with it.

Glad to see that you're back to your "cussing like a sailor and giving them hell" self. Please tell Gwen I say "howdy".

Disco is dead or if it isn't, we'll kill it. LOL

I agree. I think it was too bad that she was known as the queen of disco. Disco was just in when she was promoted. It is always sad when an artist is pigeon holed into a particular genre. I liked her a lot. :(

My friend doing a solo acoustic show Saturday night invited me up to add some guitar licks, and after a few songs, told the small audience that to honor her passing, we'd do a song of hers. I rolled my eyes , then followed along, adding the appropriate disco Dmaj7 to Em7 bits. Wasn't a gay bar, so didn't go off all that well!

Of course you could have done a couple of Liza Minellie tunes just to make sure that they weren't subtly protesting your version of Donna's song. :)
