I was aumused to learn that the Serbs humbugged our systems by using decoy electronics that gave out tank signiatures but were actually just doodads. We threw a lot of million dollar missiles at hundred dollar gizmos. Our only real 'kills' were the Chinese embassy and a bunch of civilians.
Plus that imbecile Gen Wesley Clark actually ordered a British paratroop officer to engage Russian peacekeepers advancing on an Airfield Clark ddin't want them to have. Fortunatelyl the British officer demurred, claiming it wasn't in his mission briefing to start world war III!

Wesely Clark was dropping tones of depleted Uranium ammo on the ground ... Total violation of international treaties and laws... The Serbs will be very lucky to not have three-eyed babies from the contamination of their agriculture centers...

They could not say "genocide, becuase Milosvic was not racially motivated...He simply wanted the foreigners out of his country. He did not want to exterminate them.. He was gulity of doing too good of a job , shoving the Albanians out of his country. The Clinton Admin (and i speculate here) paid the NY Timse off to put up a spin. Clinton need to garner the money from democrats to support the war he was about to declare. The Dems would never have gone for it but for the "Ethnic Cleansing argument...
The US
trained and organized the Albanian special forces that created the conditions for the Kosovo take over. We Basically promised them the land (Kosovo) if in turn they would usurp the republic. If Milosvic wasn't so corrupt they prolly could not have pulled it off. But his country was so divided, hence ripe for the actions we took.
I could go on... The Serbs got a raw deal to say the least... And like you, I felt very ashamed about my country...I know the Serbs were extremely disappointed in us.. They got back-stabbed.. You know how I feel about back-stabbers
