We had a great time at the park in Kilgore last night.
Though we only ended up doing three songs.
Though I ended up running the sound for the whole show through my system because the "professional" was a no show till after starting time.
Though the city's wiring / breakers could not handle my 1500 watt amp.
Though we had two (or was it three ) different systems of monitors linked through my system.
The weather was perfect.
The food was delicious.
The crowd was better than average and ( this will sound racist but I don't care ) black folk know how to have fun at a concert.
My feet hurt.
My equipment is a snarled mess.
And I'd do it all again tonight ...
Maybe I'll be able to get my hands on some photos latter.
Possibly even some video shot by a local TV dude.
We'll see.
