people put out want ads for musicians needed and then do not respond when you reply to their ad?.. is this common, or just rude and inconsiderate of them? then again, maybe they have found what they were looking for musician wise and feel the need not to reply.. I know I have not played professionally for 12 years, so I know I'm out of the circle.. and what's with all the people only wanting a certain age group? it's more the young guys who feel they have to have only young guys in their clique, maybe they are afraid an old fogey might slow them down, or reduce their sex appeal on stage in the limelight? LOL..prejudice is still common it seems..

Our drummer Mike is from a CL ad that he ran and I responded to. Flakes are common on CL and everywhere else, it's just human nature. Regarding age, people like to stay within ten years or so of each other when forming groups.

Jimmy, I'm sure is pretty accurate. Yet there are exceptions to the norm.
Two exceptions would be Craig's List, for having more than the normal amount of flakes, tweakers, and idiots.

And Jericho March that run the gamut of age from 11 - 60.

An old Chinese proverb states to seek to be ordinary in the realm of the extraordinary, not the extraordinary in the realm of the ordinary.

Yeah, I know it don't make no damn sense ... but it sounds cool.

LOL In the modern parlance again I believe Jimmy to be accurate.

In the petroleum production and refining world I grew up in a tweaker was someone whom could not leave well enough alone.
The are some folk whom just don't get "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

But yes I was referring to crack heads.
Always looking for something to steal.

BM has a ad for Lund Fishing boats at the top of the page. However, Boats and Drums don't mix. But its kind of cool that Lund and BM hooked up. "A much much bigger market base."

If the boat is big enough, drums are not an issue. Otherwise, get a cajon!
