Mr Scott I'm a guitar player who has been playing
piano for about 2 years now. Learning piano is the
best thing I've done to improve my overall musicianship.

Then just plainly write your music and use the guitar as your most basic melodic line.

I won't steal from you, but that A.L.S.D. is calling out to me.
I don't know if it's a tune or the name of a band, but I keep getting
"American Liquor Store Dope" from your sig at bottom.

Sounds like a punk bank, oi? lol A reallllly heavy punk band..or maybe a hard rocking band and the first tune they sing is "she got the jack".

Mike if were in the Key of A, B is the 2nd(subtonic), and
E is the %th (the dominant)

Yes, but if you play a B major chord (you just said 'B', I assumed major), then you are no longer in the key of A. If you play a Bm (minor), you are still in the key of A.
