Movin On from a few weeks ago. All guitars through a '66 Fender Champ (Tele for the double tracked rhythms, and a Les Paul for the solo).

You guys have heard this Champ many times before. nudge nudge wink wink.

Jeff, Toronto Pete did that T-Rex Cover a while back..(A nice job of it I might add) Beyond that I am clueless as to the "mystery Identity" here..

Very nice... Guitars sound just like the original.

This live or in a studio?

My apology to Paleo Pete! I remember now I liked the T-Rex cover better than I did this one. The guitar sounded good. The vocal could be better IMO the singer is deviating from the original to much. That however is subjective!

Man that amp and the guitars sound fantastic, did you use a pedal or straight amp? Just curious.

The crazy thing about Paul Rodgers vocals to me, is that on the surface it sounds like most singers could sing this stuff, but very few seem to get it, we do some Bad Comp, even have one on my player from my band, and my singer cant seem to really get the sonic sound of Paul Rodgers.

I found the vocals distracted, just so you know, doesnt matter one way or the other to me personally.

The guitars thou are top notch, and when the LP comes in it just sits so well in that mix with the Teles on rythym, is the rythym double tracked, Im listening on my computor and it doesnt have the best sound in the world.

On Good Lovin Gone Bad on my player, I use a strat for one rythym guitar and a LP for the other, panned away from each other, and the LP for the lead. I dont think I used a distortion pedal, just my little Subway Rocket on those tracks.

It is good hearing this song, I need to play it with my band, just love that style of guitar playing.

Thanks for sharing

This has to be Dajax. Love the music, but the vocals sounded like a karaoke singer, sorry. Also, wasn't there wah on the original solo?

I liked it.

I hear what you were saying about the vocals but that's just the guy's rendition/showmanship. I think he's more a performer and you just kind of go with what he's doing.

He's not Paul Rodgers, but he's similar.
And has the general deal going on, I hear the BAD COMPANY vibe, yep..

I heard a band like this the other day, it's "drinking music" I tell you..lol

I had the wah sitting at my front door to take to the studio. When it came time for the solo...D'OH!!! left it at home, but I was happy with the tone I ended up getting anyway.

Yep the rhythms are doubled and panned 3 o'clock-9 o'clock.
If I remember right I used an MXR Micro Amp clean booster for everything, and moved the mic placement for the solo
