Neck PuPs for my round and lush clean tones. Usual tone I use for verses with a light chorus and reverb.

Single PuPs (mid) for tight and janglly type of rhythm stuff for funk.

Bridge PuPs for overdrive and distortion tones. Also, I prefer these PuPs for solos.

I agree with Jsantos the only thing I'll add is I am a HSS guy (strat) I use the neck PuP for the BLUES!

I like your tone JHaley! Are your PuPs factory standard or did you replace them? I am thinking about investing in DiMarzio's.

On the strat (main guitar) I put a JB junior Trembucker in the bridge position. I love the way that thing sounds! I use the middle and neck positions alot but those pickups are stock. I am thinking about getting Lindy Fralin strat Split blades for the neck and middle position because of the hum. I am afraid to do it because I REALLY like the strat PuP's for those 2 positions.

Yeah, I don't think you need to replace them. Sounds good as is.

YOu'd be surprised at how many people just cannot get that simple axiom.

"If it's not broken do not fix it".
