I generally ride through the winter when it is above 40. I used to ride all winter no matter what the temp but I'm ancient now and my bones don't like the cold.
I've had my bike out all winter for short rides since it has been such a mild winter. Rode all day yesterday (upper 70's) and all day today also. It was 80 here today!!
I have a 3 wheeler made from a 56 Chevy truck and it runs good when it's above 40. It is a really neat looking ride, but I don't know how to post pics of it. My dog loves to ride.
When I want to ride a bike I sneak out at night, push my bike about 1/2 block away before starting it. That way I don't feel so guilty for leaving my dog home alone. But when it's below freezing I can ride the bike anytime. He hates the cold.
