I just realized With all the ideas I come up with It's impossible for me to pick Hey favorite tuning I've played 1 song in drop A and the rest of my work floats from drop D to drop B what should I do

i use drop D and Drop C some times but i'm thinking a getting an extra guitar for that - once tuned other than natural it seems to take a while to get it retuned any other way.

Additionally, with drop C I would prefer slightly heavier strings than the hybrid slinkies I'm using on my instruments now.

Both my current guitars are just too sweet action wise to mess with.

I always keep a few guitars.

Not because I like them for this or that.

Because 1 will always show me that it is better in 1 tuning or another.

Ie. I have 1 guitar that I play in drop D.
I have 1 that only gets the standard E tuning.
I have one that I like using only DADGAD.
And I have one I like for only Eb.

I am sure you have a few guitars, pick and choose who is doing what tuning.
If you have enough or a Gibson Robot, it all sorts itself out.
