You certainly are one to critique George. And it is thin. I may try to fix it. Thanks man.

I think its AWESOME Paul. It has a very Latin sound to it. The vocals sound like something the "Los Lonely Boys" would do. I think it could use an electric slightly distorted guitar during the chorus doubling the cigar box part. Or maybe some Wurli!

Technically its good, lively, energetic, good vocals structure, good lyrics...
I think that thematically, it begs for a circa 1920's "Putting on the Ritz", neo-flapper ambience to it (That's just me tho) . Its a fun, dynamic song and I got a lot of visuals of slap-stick theatric in there when I hear this...Could have a lot of fun with it.
Like the musical feel theme? Or the lyrical theme?
thanks!
More the musical theme... Everything is where it should be structurally...The lyrics are great as is...Even the vocal delivery works...But what if you dressed the tune up in some woodwinds, like from the Big-band era (I.e Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey) and even throw in some heavier toms on the drumming... Again , its just my own crazy vision... But like I said..the song is a fun song.
I think the comment about an underlying distorted guitar is correct. I was
waiting for a stop that featured a bass lick that never came. Maybe an
acoustic strum rythm underneath too to give it more body. Vocals seem
compressed. Maybe sing underneath more than over top. Lively song, catchy
and interesting. Suggestion, use a flute off your keys and sprinkle a little.[/b]
