Almost lost my system... The PC just up and went Buick on me... and I could not restart...Kept Blue screening and then a Start/Repair prompt after I re-powered... Then a crash... Holy CRAP!

So I unplugged everything and notice how friggen hot the chassis was (not good!) Open the bitch up and lo an behold...three years (at least) of dust buildup -like damn wool blanket draped over the heat sink....

Got me a can of compressed air...took off the fan an blew the crap out everything/vacumed...Now she's spotless and works like a charm Whew!!

Ah the hub of dust! Yep, comps will do that. they suck in everything.
In fact they suck up so much of our skin and fur, that there are in fact one of the best air conditioners!
It's funny how static, which apparently is nothing, can cause so much stress
