I like it.
I think it's the best one you have up. I like the melody line over those chords, and the lyrics are great.
Simple and beautiful.
I want to play on it. LOL

Sounds like you channeled "Bob Dylan". And that'd be a compliment, in case no one knew.

Why thank you gentlemen. I though it sounded like Deathcab for Cutie but what do I know. My dad was a great poet, he would get up at 4:30am a write. It's easy to write a decent melody when you have good words.

I just posted a new song I recorded tonight. No words yet but it's a work in progress; it's called Neon Black, play it loud!
Woah, nice work on "Neon Black" man. I love the main riff, very cool. I would say that song has a Jimmy Page sound in the solo. The main riff sounds like what would be used as a heavy metal movie soundtrack piece, be great for a Jet Li fight scene.
Nice work man. Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Thanks again guys for your support. I'm at work on four hours of sleep but it was worth it. Rock on!
DAMN Jimmy,
Man you are kickin out the jams with Neon Black. I didnt realize you could rock out like that.
What are you using for your guitar sound? Are those live drums or a program? I love that timing change in the middle. The first part a rocked out When The Levee Breaks comes to mind, the breakdown is pure Soundgarden and then the harmony leads brought to mind Thin Lizzy. I love layered lead lines.
You need Ronnie James Dio to sing on top of that one man.
Thats kickin, I need to post some new stuff myself. Anyway both songs sound great but you can tell I prefer a lot of distortion. Good Job.

* Blushing * aww thanks JW! I used my 79 Les Paul tuned to E-flat and the E dropped to D (which makes it C#). My Marshall TSL provides the crunch, no stomp boxes were used. My friend Bill played drums, he's a great musician who can play anything - drums, guitar, keys, etc. I then overdubbed the bass and second guitar. What you hear was straight from the board, no mixing. Dio sounds like a perfect fit but I don't think he's available lol. Thanks again for your support, you and Weg are two of my favorite axmen here. Rock on!
