Hello,

I am a graduate student of music composition at UNCG & I'm organizing a Composition Workshop that is being considered for funding by Pepsi. Since we're competing against other projects, we need as many votes as possible and we could really use everyone's support!

Vote twice a day: once via this online link http://www.refresheverything.com/savvymusic & once by texting 110547 to PEPSI (73774). We need all of the daily votes we can get as we are competing to be in the top 15 most voted projects through December 31. Would everyone please help us out by voting for it & by telling your friends, family, & colleagues about it? Please forward this to as many people as you can.

By helping us out with your votes and passing this message along, you will receive good vibes and sweet karma in return :-D Plus, you can help make this possible without paying anything! We would really appreciate it if you could help us out by spending a few seconds each day through December 31.

You can learn more about the workshop at www.savvymusic.org. You may even be interested in attending this!

This is a pretty big deal for developing composers like myself and the area in terms of new music. In Charlotte (where the workshop will be taking place), there are no programs of study for composition in any of the colleges/universities. Considering that, according to the city of Charlotte, the Charlotte area is the 6th largest urban area in the U.S. The city is growing a lot, but mostly in the business sector while leaving out music, and specifically new music. We will be making efforts to invite the public to participate in our concert as well. Another reason why this needs to happen is that it will be very rare experience in how "hands-on" it will be, working closely with all of the amazingly talented guest musicians and composers, while not charging an arm & a leg. We need your help to make this happen & support fellow musicians, composers, & new music! Thank you for your time, consideration, and support.

With much gratitude & love,
Elizabeth Kowalski
