I understand your frustration Hayden, I play originals too and it isn't just where you live. Trying to break in the business isn't like it used to be. Now you have all these music sites who want you to pay them for "opps" and unless you have some big cash to spend on a big studio production and sounding like everyone else on television, you're screwed. I get to hear my music is "boring" all the time and it "doesn't go anywhere." I mean, they only play less than 20 seconds of most songs on a commercial!

So I play for fun now. I'm too old, too tired, I enjoy my storytelling style, I'm not trying to be commercial, and that's just how it is. I'll just keep plugging until something hits!
