Hey guys, I have been trying to find a playback cd/book for the Allman Brothers Band song In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.(Like those Hal Leonard books). If anybody knows and can help with this situation it would be much appreciated. The reason I need it without the bass is because I am auditioning for a music school and my prepared piece is going to be that song and they wanna hear me play the bass not play over the bass that already exists.
Or
I was wondering if anyone knew how to use pro tools and take the bass out of the song. If that is possible?

ou nailed it when you said pro-Tools... I recommend, you get a regular copy of the songs in question, and pay the 100.00 bucks to get an engineer at a studio to extract out the bass in them and leave you with the remaining tracks...

Just a thought

You can also get the Midi file online for free and just delete the bass track. However midi guitar is not that great.
