So how are we going to convince God otherwise? If a Christian is dead to himself and now lives to Christ, how would Christ overcome? How did Christ overcome those who came for him? How did he defeat his enemy?

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take up the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, *(and the UZI of Israel), praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

My God has everything under control. If he says it's time for me to lose my head, then that is what I shall do. :)

God expects, yay demands I stand for his law and justice.
Laying down in the face of evil is not Christlike for we are not Christ

Global, National, State, County, Civic, or on a personal basis?

Would Christ stand and watch a woman being raped ?
Was Christ " free of violence " when he ran the money changers from his Fathers house with a whip?

No ... he was free of sin and stood in justice.

We cannot be free of sin ... but we must stand in justice.

I recently had this discussion with some German christians, to explain Texas justice to them. My Pastor once gave me a nugget of wisdom when he said, Ït's easier to get forgiveness than permission".

We, of course, want to be good christians.....so in Texas we shoot our enemies quickly, ask God for forgiveness, and then forgive the sorry slobs for making us shoot them.

No more problems...ever!
