Lately I have barely had time to practice. Last month we moved our 18 year old to college station so he can attend college, my 19 year old daughter had my first grandbaby, I have been helping my 17 fix his car, we got the 17 and 16 year olds started in school. now our 16 year old is in the FFA. A friend offered to set us up with a bullcalf for $600.00 I jumped on that. Yesterday I took a vacation day from work and went to our friends place about 5 miles away. My wife and I loaded our bull calf and 2 of his heffers (5 months old) into a trailer and took them to the large animal vet. We got all 3 the necessary vaccinations. We also got the Bull calf surgically de-horned and were going to get him castrated. The vet said we have a problem he has only one testicle. Now we have to wait a month to see if the other testicle drops with a 1 in 10 chance of that happening. I asked the vet if that doesn't happen how much for the surgery to remove the other one $250 to $300 oh well its only money!
Sons back in high school and all that entails.
The eldest got a good job and dropped football. Seems he like money and the girls that the boy with the job attracts more than sports.
He's still playing his violin though.
Youngest son is tennis / band.
Youngest daughter is separated soonly divorced so the wife and I are busy with her various issues and grand babies.
I have two jobs. Wife has her full time job and her new antique shop.
Plus her mother ETC.
Then today my eldest daughter ends up in ICU ...
May be a good thing I'm working tomorrow.
Might be able to get some rest.
