You've heard the tribute CD's......
You’ve seen the docs, read the bios…..
You’ve seen all the other Hendrix tribute bands.......

Now....experience the music of Hendrix the way HE presented it live.......with....

"V O O D O O C H I L D"

The longest-running & ONLY authentic Jimi Hendrix show since 1968~!!!

Fronted by New York City's own Jimy Bleu, "Voodoo Child" is carrying on, by direct personal lineage, a concept Hendrix called "Electric Ladyland".

Performing world-wide, "Voodoo Child" has opened for and toured with the likes of "Aerosmith, Slade, Graham Central Station, The J. Geils Band and Foghat, as well as appearing in major venues such as the Woodstock 25th anniversary, the Atlantic Pop Festival and Reggae Sunsplash to name a few. They have also appeared on German TV, London's BBC TV and MTV.

This isn't simply a tribute act.....this is a serious continuation which started when Bleu was a member of the official Jimi Hendrix fan club at Warner/Reprise records from 1968-1970.

Bleu, himself a former Columbia/Def Jam recording artist having had relative success in the '90's with music mogul Russell Simmons as his personal manager, performs the music of Hendrix in the studio on all instruments and vocals.

An unauthorized feature film based on Jimi Hendrix produced by Bleu is currently in post-production.

No matter how good a tribute band might be, I just can't get into it. Performing all covers is bad enough, but only one band or artist's covers? ...living vicariously through another...NOT ME...

yes it`s easy to copy, anybody can.be a leader not a follower.however i would like to see some dio cover bands for the simple fact that it would bring out some killer singers out from hiding.that is one dude that can`t be covered by some sissy high pitched singer.

Your tribute is ok. The guitar is good, the showmanship is great, the vox are hit or miss. You need a nappy 'fro, and your Noel needs a 'fro too. But I'm with Bob. Too boring to stick with one artist. If you were going to pick one artist yes Jimi Hendrix would be a clear choice but still what a frustrating gig to run since 1968!!!!!?!?!?!?! Really?

I covered "Little wing" with another member here. His name is Jimmy Danger. Our version is in my player here.
